This workshop is designed to build the capabilities of HR professionals in relation to workforce reporting and the development of strategic plans aligned with business goals. During the workshop, emphasis is placed on utilizing HR driven reports to gain audience acceptance and deliver data- driven insights to enable business execution.
A successful HR can cite the faster communication of strategy, increased time spent on strategic priorities, greater project completion rates, and measurable increases in productivity. These are the tangible results from an HR function that is aligned, focused, and disciplined to be a business partner rather than an administrator. However, many organizations struggle with siloed sub-functions and strategic theories that are difficult to operationalize.
This one-day course will introduce a framework for integrated talent management, then show how each element of HR works as part of the greater whole. Participants will learn how to achieve coordination between activities to maximize the effectiveness of HR and to streamline activities so that business managers are focused on the right activities at the right time to produce the right results.
The creation of a workforce strategy that integrates and aligns with the organization’s overall strategy is essential for ensuring that HR is focused on the right activities, able to prioritize limited resources, and partner with the business for key decisions. During this one-day course, participants will learn how to create alignment and then translate HR strategy into Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of their strategy and therefore, their ability to drive business execution.
The most powerful method to then move the indicators in a positive direction is through goal management. Employees assigned specific, challenging, yet attainable goals consistently out-perform employees who are given no goals or non-specific goals encouraging them to “do their best.” This workshop will guide participants to creating a disciplined organization through effective goal management which, in turn, drives business execution.
